Liquid Death is an irreverent brand that contradicts almost every convention of marketing. It’s simply regular drinking water, but packaged differently and marketed uniquely with the tagline “Murder Your Thirst.” The brand’s aluminum cans emblazoned with dripping skulls, calligraphy and flavors such as “mango chainsaw” generate as much buzz as alcohol brands, if not more. It’s an example of a sustainable product that’s not being too earnest about it. Started in 2019 by a former ad agency creative and ranked in the top 10 of Ad Age’s 2022 Marketers of The Year (along with McDonalds, Walmart and Tik Tok), the brand is now valued at a US $700 million on revenue of US $130 million.

IMPACT AWARDS DINNER AT CIRQUE ELOISE
